A very full week!

Hello! Well, it has been an adventurous week... on Monday we set up Chloe's toddler bed, which she was very excited about! The thing is to keep her from falling out of it! Yes, yes, the smart thing to do would be to get a bed rail - but so far we haven't done that... she seems to be okay, though, and is getting better every day!On the weekend we found a bike for Karissa at Walmart that is the perfect "learning" bike! It sort of is like a trike, but looks like a bike... anyway, she loved it. For awhile... on Monday she had a bad spill on her bike and ended up chipping her front tooth :( Now she is afraid to get on her bike and ride it again. I'm sure if we keep encouraging her it'll come, but for now - it's a no go!
Take a look at the tooth! And the puffy lip... yeah, that happened on Wednesday. All I know is that it involved my water bottle and her somehow falling on it and hitting her mouth... good grief! Well, at least we know where she gets her "accident prone-ness" from!
All-in-all, Karissa is a real trooper. Nothing seems to faze her! It's amazing, really... but I guess kids do that.

Happy Easter!

Well, I guess Easter has come and gone once again... we had a really fun weekend, even though our friends couldn't make it out for Easter dinner. It just doesn't seem the same without lots of people around the dinner table on a holiday!The Easter goodies left for the girls to find in the morning - the got up at completely different times (of course) so I thought I'd just take this pic in case :)

It rained all morning, so we couldn't really do our egg hunt out in the backyard like I'd hoped. The girls had fun anyway!

On Good Friday we decorated Easter eggs - now that was an adventure! I'm very grateful that I didn't tackle that one on my own :)
