Look who's walking!

Well, it's been a big weekend already! Chloe has been standing by herself so much more, and taking steps! She's only taken about 3 before falling, but she's definitely getting lots of practice! She's absolutely proud as punch of her new found skill, and will be running after Karissa in no time, I'm sure! It was kind of hard to get pictures, as it's still faster for her to crawl, so she often will get down and crawl to whoever is holding the camera, but we got a few! Not sure what this face is about, or what she's doing with her hands, but that's our Chloe!

And along with walking, she discovered how to climb! Oh the joy... whatever is closest to the coffee table she'll use to get up. Yesterday it was her farm, and today the toy box. Yes, she climbed over all the toys so she could try and get onto the coffee table. Oh my goodness!
I think we might have a busy summer ahead of us... crazy girl... (I can hear all of the grandparents laughing as I write this...)

Summer fun

She finally got her way! Chloe has been hinting at the fact that she wanted to start eating with a spoon for awhile, but I wasn't up for the mess yet, so she's either been eating with her hands or I feed her. She refuses to take food from me and HAS to do it herself, now! Half the time she uses her hands anyway, but she's doing pretty good!
Still not walking by herself, yet, but I guess everyone goes at their own pace! She does love to walk behind the "Pooh-mobile" so that is now a backyard toy.
Hangin' out on the swingset. The girls love this thing! It'll be fun to get a slide or something for Karissa and Chloe, too.
Thanks for the swing, Grandma and Grandpa! This was a birthday present that has gotten a LOT of use, so far! Chloe usually has to fight Karissa for a turn.
Karissa loves watering the flowers. If she sees me with the watering can, she runs after me and shouts "Water! water!" She gets pretty excited.
