Spring has sprung - finally!!!

Karissa has discovered what to do in puddles! Someone down the street emptied their pool, so the street was full of puddles! Because it was so warm, there were kids splashing in the water, and Karissa figured that she should join in! It was quite entertaining watching her splash in the puddle, then try to figure out what was under the water.

After what seemed like a really long winter - and lots of "fooled ya" spring days - the buds have finally appeared on the bushes and trees around our house! For some reason my other pics didn't download, but maybe I'll try again later... I'm so excited to have a promise of leaves! It's so brown and ugly here - so green will be a nice change :)

Easter Time!

We had Easter dinner with friends of ours here in Caronport. Bryan's parents made a turkey dinner for us all and even brought baskets for the 2 girls! Karissa got right into hers - eggs and all! She carried them around in her hands so long they started melting - then she did when we took them away :)

After church we took pictures in her Easter dress - she looked like a little princess in the dress! Funny thing - the dress that she wore for Easter this year, is the same dress that I bought for my neice when she was Karissa's age! (I was thinking!)

It's only getting bigger! Karissa likes to rest her head on her baby brother/sister when we're cuddling on the couch. We thought we'd catch it on camera this time! Just 7 weeks till my due date! Let the countdown begin! Only - we're not even close to being "ready" for this one... anyone feel like painting?
