Just for fun

Just thought I'd throw some pics on here that had nothing to do with anything, just a bit of fun pics thanks to the girls! Karissa's latest things is taking her pants off - she doesn't like to keep them on worth anything! Then she'll put on any shoes she can find, like these boots - and walk around the house! We've taken to wearing dresses now... :)
Don't bite off more than you can chew! This was one of Karissa's birthday presents from our friends from Montreal. It's soft so apparently it's a good "chew toy".
Just hangin' out!
Yesterday I came back from putting Chloe to bed, to find Karissa sound asleep in her chair! Too funny!! I just had to take a picture before I could put her to bed.
Chloe's 7 month pic - a little late. I have an awful feeling that I missed 6 months, but what can you do? I think she'll probably forgive me.

Happy Birthday Karissa!

On Saturday we celebrated Karissa's 2nd birthday! Hard to imagine that we have a 2 year old... Anyway - we had a few families over to help us celebrate which was a lot of fun :) A lot of people in the house, so it was busy, but a good time nonetheless! This picture is kind of funky one - not really sure what happened. Karissa blew out her candle like pro!
This was the cake :) A big pain to ice, but it was fun!
Yummy cake! This girl can never get enough :)
Cool dude! This was one of her presents - she was pretty excited about them.
Guess who she got the Tupperware from?

Well, we missed having family and our friends out in BC at the party... it would have been great to have you here!!

Christmas 2007 cont'd...

Yeah yeah, I know, I did this backwards - but I wasn't thinking about that when I started, I just knew there would be two parts - so now you know to keep scrolling down when you get to the end of this post! It was too hard to only pic a few photos, so I have a million! Well, not quite, but anyway... This was playing out front in Joel's parent's front yard the day after it snowed really hard. Chloe had a good time with Opa - as you can tell.
The snowmen that the boys and Karissa put together. (Karissa managed to gather a few rocks for the mouth... that was her contribution)
When I went to my friend Jen's place - she had a special little cake with a candle just for Karissa! Her little Sammy had celebrated his 2nd birthday on the 1st, so there were leftovers! Thanks, Jen, for making a special day!

Ah yes, tubing at Manning Park - Joel, Jeremy, Jalen and I had a great time! Karissa... not so much! Next year we will remember that BC snow is a little wetter than SK snow - therefore, we dress differently! Poor little thing!
Chloe was bundled up pretty well, though! Her and Oma hung out while the rest of us went down the hill...
On the 28th we all trucked out to Stanley Park to ride the Christmas train! What a great night :) Unfortunately, my dad was sick, so he couldn't make it :( We had a wonderful time, the lights were amazing!
Karissa enjoyed seeing the animals as well, she went through with us once, then with Grandma again!

We had a really awesome time in BC. It was so good to see all of you - for those of you we couldn't see, we are sorry! It's hard to fit everyone in at Christmastime... hopefully we can come out in summer this year for a little while. Cross your fingers!

Christmas 2007

Hello! I finally downloaded some of my pics from Christmas - I think they'll be split up into 2 posts, just cuz there are so many! and here they are in no particular order... who are those beautiful girls with Karissa and Chloe?
It was pretty tough adjusting to the 2 hour time difference... Grandma's always good for a cuddle, though!
Karissa had so much fun with the Christmas wrapping this year. She was quite anxious to get into it all!
Opening the "little people" doll house from Oma and Opa.
All the cousins! Karissa, Jalen and Chloe.
Visiting Joel's Oma - she had quite the time holding Chloe. She's not the most relaxed child!
My Grandma was excited to meet Chloe as well.
Grandpa and Chloe playing on the floor - hey look, they even match!
How does Grandma always manage to get the baby to sleep?
Grandma and Grandpa bought a singing snowman. Karissa loved it and would press the button and dance to it all the time.
