Happy Thanksgiving! (yeah, a month late...)

This last weekend, Scott and Rachelle came with their girls to celebrate a very belated Thanksgiving with us! We had a great time all together...didn't get a lot of sleep, but it was worth it! The turkey dinner turned out really well - gets better every time we do it, I think. It was so great to have them here with us for the weekend... Thanks for making the trip out, you guys!

Karissa got some new musical instruments from Tegan and Anaya. Apparently she wanted Chloe to play the drum... crazy kid!
The girls had a lot of fun tossing the leaves in the air. The morning we decided to go to the park it was FREEZING outside, but they had fun, anyway!
Chloe is somewhere in there! Trying to stay warm and out of the wind...
Karissa had to hold hands with Chelle. This pic is so cute...
Family picture! We had to be quick, because the wind was strong and it was COLD!
Guess who's sitting up? She just started this a few days ago and has gotten pretty good! She sits for longer and longer times and loves it! She's getting so big!

Hard to believe it's November already... not too much longer till Christmas! (50 days to be exact) :) Karissa is such a helper - the other day Joel and I were unloading groceries from the bins and she had to help! She put away cans and some stuff into the freezer - she was delighted that she could put them away too! She also loves to try and pick up the cat... which the cat isn't too excited about! I'm amazed at how Scooters tolerates everything, though.

She gets so excited when we pick up the cat so that Karissa can "hold" her!
I was having some fun with the camera one day - can't wait till both the girls can sit in the tree! This is the tree in our front yard. It's a weeping birch.
One of Chloe's first tastes of cereal. She hasn't quite got the hang of eating yet, but we're working on it!
Aren't they sweet!
We went to a dress-up party at playgroup on Halloween afternoon. I didn't really have any kind of costumes, but Chloe got dressed up in the mariners outfit that Oma got her in summer.
Our friend Fiona brought a piglet outfit that is too big for her little girl - so Karissa put it on!
All of the kids (minus Chloe and little Caleb) posed for a picture. Aviana is on the far left, then Liam, Kaylana, Karissa and little Sadie (Aviana's sister - she's about a month old)
Me and the girls - all in pink! (wasn't even planned!)
