It's a girl!!!

Our happy little family :) Chloe Janae was born on May 26, 2007 at 2:37pm. She weighed 7lbs 12 oz and was 51cm long. (anyone know what that is in inches?) Labour was about 12 hours again - same as with Karissa. No comment on that :) We're all home now, happy to be a family again. Chloe actually seems a lot more content now that we're home.
Joel had a little bit of fun with the camera and Chloe - leave it to him!!! She definitely has a long tongue! Looks a lot like Karissa, too. I'll try to post more pics in the next week or so - seeing how things go!! Rest is a little more important at the moment :)

Lovin' life!

Karissa absolutely loves being outside - what kid doesn't? The other day she found the spade that was left in the garden. She knows exactly what to do with it! Gettin' down and dirty is one of her favourite things :) Should be an interesting summer!
Karissa has discovered the joy of wearing hats - until she has to go outside, that is:) Then it usually comes off within a few minutes :) On Mother's day when she was up with Dad in the morning, she found one of her hats and stuck in on her head and just ran around the house happy as a clam! Diaper and a hat - what could make a kid happier!?!
Tonight she was being a goof while Dad was outside with a friend of his. She kept pressing her mouth against the screen. Wonder who she learned that from?

Any Guesses????

So, I've had a few guesses so far - as to what this baby is going to be and when it's going to be born, etc... If you haven't already and feel the need to make a guess - please do! It's always fun to hear when people think we're going to have this baby... and what it's going to be, and what the name is... no I don't have a "latest pic" to go with this post - and I'm sure I will get requests for that! Trust me, I'm big :) Much like last time... if you can remember - it wasn't really that long ago! Anyway, I'm just blabbering now, so make a guess!

Our brave little soldier

Karissa's been pretty sick lately, and last weekend the Doctor prescribed a nebulizer for her. She has to wear the mask and breathe in the medicine - not much fun! It actually took us quite a few days to get to the point where she would wear it without fighting, but now she's a pro! She's such a trooper... Poor little thing... she's on her second bout of antibiotics - hopefully these one will work!

Karissa's new "look". She puts her chin down to her chest and looks at you with those big blue eyes - and it's really hard not to laugh. Not good if she's getting into trouble!

Well, no pics as of right now - but there's only 3 weeks to go! The countdown is on! Let's hope this one's a little early, at least. The back could use a bit of a break :)
